A Michigan Lottery player has become a millionaire after winning the $5.46 million Lotto 47 jackpot.
The winning ticket matched all six numbers drawn Wednesday—13, 25, 30, 35, 38, and 46. It was purchased at the Speedway gas station on South Westnedge Avenue in Kalamazoo.
“Winning a $5.46 million jackpot on a $1 ticket is an incredible return on investment,” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli. “This is the second time in 2025 that a Michigander has won a Lotto 47 jackpot.”
In January, another player won $1.3 million with a ticket bought at Mac’s II Inc. in Taylor.
The latest winner should contact the Lottery’s Player Relations at 844-917-6325 to claim the prize. Lotto 47 tickets are valid for one year from the drawing date.
Each Lotto 47 play costs $1. Players pick six numbers from 1 to 47 for a chance at a jackpot starting at $1 million, which grows until won. For an extra $1, players can add Double Play for a chance to win up to $1.5 million in a second drawing. Another $1 option, EZMatch, offers a chance to win up to $500 instantly.
