Players in Arizona are urged to check their tickets as a $2 million jackpot from Saturday’s Pick drawing remains unclaimed, according to AZ Central.
The winning ticket was sold at a Safeway store in Tucson. Just days earlier, another Arizona player became an instant millionaire after buying a Mega Millions ticket online in Tempe. On Monday, a $50,000 Powerball ticket was also sold at a different Tucson Safeway.
Arizona Lottery officials say 2025 has started strong for players in the state. In 2024, more than $973 million in lottery prizes were awarded across Arizona.
The $2 million prize isn’t the only large jackpot waiting to be claimed in the U.S. In Georgia, two players share identical $403,000 Fantasy 5 jackpots from the January 20 drawing. One ticket was bought online via the Georgia Lottery app, and the other at a Citgo Quik Mart in Alpharetta. Both matched the numbers 9, 10, 12, 27, and 28, beating odds of 1 in 850,668. Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes and must schedule appointments at Georgia Lottery offices soon.
In Oregon, a $328 million Powerball prize sold in Beaverton on January 18 remains unclaimed. The winner can choose 30 annual payments or a lump sum of $146.4 million after taxes and fees, with both options significantly reducing the amount.
Meanwhile, in Iowa, lottery officials are rushing to find the owner of a Powerball ticket that will expire in just days.
With millions in prizes still unclaimed nationwide, players are reminded to check their tickets before time runs out.
