The Powerball jackpot has risen to $82 million for the upcoming Saturday drawing, with a cash option of $37.3 million.
The winning numbers for Wednesday’s drawing were: 14, 15, 30, 40, 59, with a Powerball of 20 and a Power Play of 3x. However, no one across the country won the $66 million jackpot, and no second-prize tickets worth $1 million were sold. In New Jersey, no ticket won more than $300.
Additionally, no one won the $10 million Double Play prize on Wednesday. The Double Play winning numbers were 9, 31, 32, 50, and 57, with a drawn number of 14.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are about 1 in 292 million. A $2 ticket gives players a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers without the Powerball and win a second-prize of at least $1 million. The odds of winning a third prize of at least $50,000 are 1 in 913,129.
Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday across 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
