WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A Mega Millions ticket worth $10,000 is waiting to be claimed, but the winner has only a few days left to do so, according to the South Carolina Education Lottery.
The winning ticket was purchased in November at the Circle K store located at 4048 Charleston Hwy in West Columbia. It matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega Ball number in the November 8 drawing, earning the winner $10,000.
The ticket must be claimed by Wednesday, May 7, before 4 p.m. at the Columbia Claims Center. If the winner chooses to mail in the ticket, the envelope must be postmarked by that date.
If the prize is not claimed by the deadline, the $10,000 will be deposited into the Education Lottery Account to help fund educational programs in South Carolina.
