A staggering £199 million EuroMillions jackpot is up for grabs tonight, potentially making one lucky ticket-holder the UK’s richest-ever lottery winner.
The prize would surpass the wealth of global music icon Adele, 37, who is reportedly worth £170 million. It would also top boxer Anthony Joshua’s £195 million fortune and overshadow pop star Dua Lipa’s £115 million net worth.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, which runs the National Lottery, said: “This is the kind of jackpot that doesn’t just change your life — it propels you into the realms of the rich and famous. You could treat those closest to you and secure your family’s future for generations.”
The jackpot has been growing steadily since April 11. If no one wins tonight, it will roll over again, reaching its cap of £202 million.
The current UK record stands at £195 million, claimed by an anonymous player in July 2022. The largest jackpot so far this year was £83 million, won in January.
If claimed by a UK resident, tonight’s jackpot would mark the 20th time a Briton has won more than £100 million in EuroMillions history.
