HIALEAH – Two Hialeah residents started the week with a stroke of luck, each winning $52,626.06 in Monday night’s Fantasy 5 drawing held by the Florida Lottery.
The winning tickets were sold at two popular local spots. One was a Quick Pick ticket purchased at the East Hialeah Valero gas station on 995 Hialeah Drive. The other came from Publix Sabor at 1290 W. 68th Street.
The winning numbers drawn were 5, 10, 13, 20, and 25.
According to the Florida Lottery’s website, neither winner has claimed their prize yet. Winners have 180 days from the draw date to do so.
Hialeah has seen a streak of lottery luck recently. In late April, another Fantasy 5 ticket bought at the Fresco y Más supermarket at 6500 W. Fourth Avenue won $17,273.51.
These repeated wins have made Hialeah a hot spot for Fantasy 5 players, especially in stores with strong ties to the local Latin community.
Fantasy 5 remains one of Florida’s most popular lottery games, offering players a chance to win large prizes by correctly picking five numbers. If no one wins the top prize, the money is shared among those who match four or three numbers.
With each win, excitement continues to grow in Hialeah, where lottery luck seems to keep striking.
