CUTLER BAY, Fla. – Two South Florida residents are celebrating big wins from Wednesday’s Fantasy 5 lottery drawings, with both tickets purchased at local Publix stores.
In the midday drawing, a Quick Pick ticket worth $54,647.73 was sold at the Publix located at 18485 S. Dixie Highway in Cutler Bay, according to the Florida Lottery. The winning numbers were 1, 13, 20, 30, and 36.
Later that evening, another Quick Pick ticket matched all five numbers — 9, 14, 24, 33, and 36 — earning the player $116,433.83. That ticket was sold at 1181 S. University Drive in Plantation.
Lottery officials said both winners beat long odds of 1 in 376,992 to claim their Fantasy 5 prizes.
Players who win should follow official instructions on how to claim their prize, which are available on the Florida Lottery’s website or at any local lottery office.
