A lucky Dublin player has won a life-changing €225,000 prize in the latest EuroMillions Ireland-Only Raffle draw.
The National Lottery confirmed that the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Mc Hughes Stores on St Patrick’s Road in Walkinstown, Dublin 12. The winning raffle code from the draw was I-SCK-25765.
This win marks the fifth prize awarded in the special EuroMillions Ireland-Only Raffle series, which guarantees a €225,000 prize every Tuesday and Friday throughout May. So far, winners have come from Dublin 2, Meath, Limerick, Wicklow, and now Dublin 12—leaving four more prizes still up for grabs.
Emma Monaghan, a spokesperson for the National Lottery, said:
“While there was no winner of last night’s EuroMillions jackpot, which was worth a massive €151,408,194, over 63,000 players in Ireland won prizes across the EuroMillions and Plus games. This includes one lucky winner of the Ireland-Only Raffle special draw, who receives €225,000.”
She added, “It’s always exciting to see players win these life-enhancing prizes, and we can’t wait to hear how this one plans to celebrate.”
In the main EuroMillions draw, the winning numbers were 6, 9, 25, 37, 46, with 6 and 12 as the lucky stars. While no one claimed the jackpot, five players matched five numbers and one lucky star to win €199,795 each. Seven others matched five numbers, each securing €33,354.
Meanwhile, excitement is also building in Roscommon, where TellyBingo players continue to strike it lucky. One player recently took home €50,000, and yesterday another won the game’s snowball prize worth €65,005, by completing a full house in 51 calls or fewer.
The National Lottery is encouraging all players to check their tickets and to play responsibly.
