A lucky man from Kent has won £124,113.30 after matching five numbers in a EuroMillions draw. The winner, known only as Mr. A, says his first purchase following the life-changing win was his favorite bottle of aftershave. He also plans to use part of the prize money to go on holiday.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery’s operator, Allwyn, expressed excitement for Mr. A, saying, “Wow! This is wonderful news for Mr. A, who has become more than £100,000 richer overnight. What better way to treat yourself after such a big win than with your favorite bottle of aftershave?”
Winners of National Lottery prizes have the option to stay anonymous, release their name, or share some details like Mr. A did through partial publicity.
Each week, the National Lottery generates over £30 million for good causes. Since its launch, more than £50 billion has been raised, supporting over 700,000 grants across the UK.
