ARTESIA, Calif. — A $47 million SuperLotto Plus jackpot ticket was sold at Fresh Catch Seafood Market in Artesia after Wednesday evening’s drawing. The lucky winner has the option to receive the prize in 30 graduated annual payments or as a lump sum, both before federal taxes.
The winning ticket matched all six numbers in the drawing, which were 11, 19, 24, 38, 41, with the Mega number 26.
In another win, a ticket sold at a convenience store in Ontario matched five numbers, but missed the Mega number. This ticket is worth $39,175, according to the California Lottery.
Wednesday’s drawing marked the 41st since the last time a jackpot-winning ticket was sold. The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number are 1 in 41,416,353.
The jackpot for Saturday’s drawing will be $7 million.
