Lottery Officials Urge Winners to Claim $60,000

by Nancy

Lottery officials are searching for Mega Millions players holding four unclaimed tickets worth a total of $60,000. These tickets are about to expire soon if the winners do not come forward.

One $10,000 winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven in Colorado for the Christmas Eve 2024 draw. The deadline to claim this prize is today.

Three other tickets, each from the December 27 draw, include a $30,000 ticket bought at a Circle K in Colorado and two $10,000 tickets purchased in Louisiana—one at Om Metairie Oil Inc on Cleary Avenue and the other at Westwood Spur on Westbank Expressway. Winners of these tickets have until June 25 to claim their prizes.

In addition, multiple Powerball players across the U.S. also hold unclaimed prizes worth $50,000. One ticket was won in Urbandale, Iowa, in late December, with a claim deadline of June 26, 2025.

Another $50,000 Powerball ticket was won in Davenport, Iowa, in early March. This winner has until August 28, 2025, to claim their prize.

Finally, a $50,000 Powerball ticket purchased in Louisiana in mid-December remains unclaimed. The deadline for this prize also falls sometime in June.

Lottery officials urge all winners to check their tickets and claim their prizes before the deadlines pass, or the money will be forfeited.
