A lucky Ohio Lottery player has claimed the $110,000 Rolling Cash 5 jackpot after purchasing the winning ticket in Summit County.
The ticket was bought on Friday, January 24, at Discount Drug Mart, located at 3100 Glenwood Drive in Reminderville. The Ohio Lottery confirmed that the winner selected their own numbers: 6, 17, 20, 30, and 37.
After federal and state taxes, which total 28%, the winner will take home about $79,200. “After tax, the winner will receive approximately $79,200,” the Ohio Lottery said in a statement.
Rolling Cash 5 is a daily draw game in Ohio. The odds of hitting the jackpot—by matching all five numbers—are one in 575,757. Prizes are also awarded for matching fewer numbers:
- Four out of five numbers: $300 (odds of 1 in 3,387)
- Three out of five numbers: $10 (odds of 1 in 103)
- Two out of five numbers: $1 (odds of 1 in 10)
The previous Rolling Cash 5 jackpot was even higher at $130,000. That winning ticket was sold at a Meijer gas station in Lorain.
Meanwhile, lottery officials are still looking for the winner of a life-changing Cash4Life prize. A ticket sold at Casey’s convenience store in Cole Camp, Missouri, matched all five white balls (22, 40, 45, 54, 60) and the Cash Ball (1) in the January 28 drawing. The winner has the choice of receiving $1,000 a week for life or a lump sum of $1 million.
Cash4Life is offered in ten states and is drawn nightly. Lottery officials urge all players to check their tickets carefully.
