Lottery officials in Missouri are issuing an urgent call for a Mega Millions player to come forward and claim a $1 million prize before it’s too late.
The winning ticket was sold at The Pantry, a convenience store located on Creek Drive in Branson. The ticket matched the five white balls drawn on October 25, 2024: 23, 26, 35, 41, and 43. The golden Mega Ball was 7.
Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize, meaning the final deadline to collect the $1 million is April 23, 2025.
Anyone who bought a Mega Millions ticket at The Pantry around that time is urged to check their numbers carefully. Players can verify their tickets manually or use the Missouri Lottery’s online tools.
This is not the only unclaimed prize in the state. Another $1 million Mega Millions ticket, with winning numbers 5, 17, 35, 55, 69 and Mega Ball 19, will expire on May 14. Additional outstanding prizes include $60,000 expiring April 17, $50,000 on May 22, and a massive $6.3 million prize set to expire on September 15.
Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game, with drawings held every Tuesday and Friday evening. Tickets cost $5 per play, and jackpots can grow as high as $50 million or more.
In a separate case, lottery officials in South Carolina are also searching for a Powerball winner who purchased a $2 ticket worth $100,000. That ticket was bought at a Circle K gas station in Charleston for the April 2 drawing. As with other prizes, the 180-day claim period is already ticking down.
Officials are encouraging all lottery players to double-check any recent tickets and claim their winnings before the deadlines pass.
