A Portsmouth mum is celebrating after winning £1 million in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw on Friday, April 4.
The woman, who has chosen to remain anonymous, bought a Lucky Dip ticket through the National Lottery App. Her winning code, TNKB70417, was selected in the special raffle that guarantees one UK millionaire in every draw.
Speaking about her win, she said she was overwhelmed with disbelief at first. “I couldn’t believe it when I checked my account. I just wanted someone to confirm it was real!” she said.
After the shock wore off, she celebrated by opening a bottle of champagne with her daughter. She now plans to buy her first home and travel. “This is life-changing and will allow me to get on the property ladder and have some fabulous holidays. The Maldives is at the top of my list,” she added.
