A quick stop at a Florida gas station turned into a life-changing moment for a lucky lottery player in Winter Haven. According to the Florida Lottery, a Fantasy 5 ticket sold at a Marathon Food Mart matched all five winning numbers in the evening drawing on Friday, May 2. The jackpot prize was $126,197.90.
The odds of winning the top Fantasy 5 prize are 1 in 376,992. As of May 5, the winning ticket had not yet been claimed.
In a separate drawing held earlier that same day, another Fantasy 5 player won $61,240.81 after matching five numbers in the midday game.
Winter Haven is located about 50 miles east of downtown Tampa.
